Hi all, delighted to announce that we continue our 50% reduced membership rate with Rathfarnham WSAF Athletics Club. Any Belpark members who plan to train on a regular basis at Rathfarnham sessions must take out membership of €50 for insurance purposes. You will also be registered with AAI and can race various athletic races such as Cross-country/track and road races under Rathfarnham WSAF. This works out at just over €1 per week! The link to paying the fee is on our members' zone Booking Portal www.belparktri.ie/class-booking/For those who have paid via the old website link, that payment is valid. Please note if you want to join the Rathfarnham 8-week Fit4life programme (commencing Tuesday 19th Jan) organised by Clare Sullivan, this is a separate fee (€25) and can be paid on the Rathfarnham website www.athleticsrathfarnham.ie/membership/fit-for-life-membership/levels.html. Kind regards Helen

Just a reminder to those Belpark members who attend the Rathfarnham run training sessions, that you must be a Rathfarnham member to attend these sessions. For those new to the club (and not doing fit4life programme), you may attend 3 Rathfarnham sessions to try it out. The good news is that Belpark members get a 50% discount of the regular Rathfarnham fee of €100. Pay at this link www.belparktri.ie/class-booking/Regards Helen

Hi Helen, thanks for these emails. I was just wondering if doing the fit for life and having paid the €25 is it just an extra €25 after this for the annual membership or we need to pay the €50 too?

Hi Linda, yes - you will be able to pay the €25 to join Rathfarnham. Clare Sullivan will be contacting any of the Belpark fit4lifers about this closer to the end of the 8 weeks. Regards Helen

Reminder to all who attend Rathfarnham AC run training. The mailing list is going to be updated to reflect 2016 paid up members. If you have not paid Rathfarnham membership (via Belpark) you will not receive the Rathfarnham training schedule email and you will not be allowed to train with the club.

Hi Tomas, Your'e very welcome. Yep you can try a week first before joining. Intervals are in Loretto Park opposite Nutgrove. The group meet on the opposite side of the park to the shopping centre about half way up along the liitle river, just where the path cuts across the middle of the park...there'll be a lot of people in Lycra so you're unlikely to miss them!! People start to gather at about 6:25. Ask for Adam, Clare, me or Helen. One of us will be there and will be give you a brief overview and direct you to the correct group.
If you have any questions about running or anything else in club you can drop Conal or Dee a line @ newmembers@belparktri.ie or Mark or myself @ training@belparktri.ie.
Regards,
Ben

Rathfarnham session tonight for Belpark members is 5 x 1500m with 2 mins recovery. People can attend up to 3 training sessions to try out but must join Rathfarnham thereafter if they plan to continue training with them. I will be there tonight if anyone new will be there but please look out for me early as we start the session promptly at 6.30! Regards Helen
