Hi all,
So where just under 8 weeks to race day from Dublin Half Iron man!
As its my first ever half distance, I hope to call on people that have completed the race and find inspiration from people taking part!
It would be great/beneficial to organise a recky of the course in the next 4 weeks and potentially a quick session at the club house ( if this is possible) some evening/weekend to go over best practice for half distance.
Please let me know if you are interested in above and or taking part in Dublin 70.3.
Thanks,
Keith

Hi folks,
Just joined Belpark and completed my first full distance triathlon last weekend down at Blessington. I'm gearing up for the half Iron Man and hope to do a few more standard distance tri's in between.
Is there a specific training group for those doing the half Iron Man?
Thanks and looking forward to meeting you all!
Mark

I expect there will be a decent Belpark crew doing the Dublin 70.3. Mark Wallace - I assume by "full" distance you mean Olympic distance. "Full" distance typically refers to full Ironman (140.6) distance. Ironman 70.3 is 'middle' distance. (Sorry for being so pedantic! ?). I expect there will be an official Belpark reccie of the bike course in coming weeks......myself and some others will also be doing our own unofficial spins along the bike course probably twice between now and end July. I will post here and happy for others to tag along (Be warned we are early starters - like 7am ish)

It's my first time doing the half distance and like you joined Belpark recently.

Hi guys, will post up specifics in a separate thread on forum about this but Saturday 2nd July for official Belpark spin of bike & run route. Also Q&A type discussion the evening before with some experienced club members, who raced in 2015, happy to share experiences, thoughts and tips. Hope to see you all there.
