August 2017 is the perfect time for your first Olympic race!

Who's aiming for their first Olympic distance this year.....?

Caroline Kearney Triathlon takes place on Saturday 12th August and is always a popular race with Belpark members.  This is one of the target races for the club in 2017 so our club coaches will also be working towards this as part of their plan for the year.

So what's in store.....

1.5k calm lake swim
40k 1 lap cycle
10k flat run

........ and lots of cheers from your fellow clubmates!

The race opens for entries next Saturday 25th February - this is also the National Championship race for 2017 so will sell out quickly!

A brief overview of the race is included in the 'Race Review' section of the website (via MemberZone) AND don't forget to add your name to the 'Race Register' to let us know you're racing!

Thanks Dee. Great suggestion! I've never actually done an Oly so this could be a good option for my first attempt

Congrats everyone for doing CK yesterday. If anyone would like to write a race report, please feel free. I'm especially looking at those of you who were doing the standard distance for the first time.
