Hi Everyone,
As you probably already know Belpark TC run our running session through Rathfarnham WSAF. Rathfarnham are an excellent club with a great participation ethos across all levels and a club that continually achieves great results and a wide range of events. Joining Rathfarnham should provide a great platform to improve our members run training. However a very low number of Belpark members have taken up the opportunity to join Rathfarnham AC for 2016. As a result we are looking into a number of ways of improving the shared sessions and benefits offered to Belpark members who do decide to join Rathfarnham AC.
We will likely issue a short run training survey in the coming days to get a better idea of our members running requirements but in the mean time we plan on reviewing and improving a few elements of our run training programme as follows:
The main Rathfarnham AC session attended by our members is the weekly Tuesday night interval session in Loreto Park. We have identified a number of elements of this session that can be approved to make it more suitable to our members.
• Establish a better, more visible point of contact for Belpark members to meet and greet. The BP representative will be able to point you in the right direction and into a group most suited to your ability and answer any questions you have, or at least point you in the right direction for the answer!
• Improve the website content: Watch that space! Much better content about run training, Tuesday nights, what’s best for your ability and our relationship with Rathfarnham is on the way!!
• We are also working with Adam (Rathfarnham coach) to introduce some more tri specific workouts to his weekly plan.
We hope this will improve our members run training experience with Rathfarnham and help boost numbers at these very worth while sessions.
If you feel you can add anything to the above or have any other requests or issues please drop myself or Mark a line @ training@belparktri.ie
All the best,
Ben
