Hey everybody,
Was wondering if anybody out there had any good advice for a race I am going to do in Dublin in August. I am trying to avoid taking my bike (unbelievably expensive to transport from the US) and am exploring rental opportunities (size 54 or even 56). Does anybody know of any good triathlon shops in Dublin that will rent tri bikes or high end road bikes? I haven't had much luck with web searches. Another option I would strongly consider - is there anybody from the Dublin area that is not racing and wouldn't mind renting their bike out for the weekend? I would be willing to pay a few hundred euros and am willing to put down a safety deposit to prove that I am trustworthy
Thanks for your help!

Hi - are you doing IM70.3? We'll probably have a few from the club racing. I did quick search and you can rent road bikes from www.biking.ie/index.php/road-bike-rental. They are located on the south side of the city (Ticknock), so a taxi is best way to get there if you don't have a car. There might be members who would rent a bike - I have a Lapierre R lite 56cm that I use as a commuter, so not a TT bike but a plan B if you don't get something. David
