Hello all, High tide expected at 18:23 this coming Sunday. I will be taking the session and looking forward to it. Temps today a balmy 11 degrees so hopefully its finally on the up. It'd be nice to get an idea of numbers who plan to attend on Sunday. Equally, if there is anything people would like covered specifically on the day shout now. My ideas are: -treading water starts (2 or 3) these are great to practice as its a much neglected area in OW swimming -quick chat before about sighting etc. and my opinions on core work for OW swimming -drafting in water -start sprints and a light swim If I could also get an idea of what distances people are racing this season and level of experience we might look to break groups up. I will be bringing an orca safety buoy and fins so I can keep an eye on all bodies. If anyone wants to assist on the day please let me know. Looking forward to it Philip

Hope to make it Phil, weather looking great too. Very interested in the sighting and various other open water skills, also interested in a swim taking in a few buoys. Happy to help with leading that aspect.
Reminder to everyone to bring their hat and goggles.

Hi All,
In addition to Phill's session outlined above we will also be having a short handicap race (450m) at the end of the session
Can you please post up if you intend or are even thinking about attending so we can work out the handicaps for the race.
Please post your best recent 750 and or 400m times. Handicaps will aim to give every swimmer of every ability a fair shot at the title so this is suitable for anyone who can swim 450m. (you can also message me if you'd like to keep them private).
If you don't know your times just drop me a message and we'll work it out.
It will work on the bases of staggered starts - slower swimmers off first and faster swimmers held back and chasing. Bound to be good craic. Might even try swing some swim hats / Belpark socks for the winners!!
