Folks could anyone spare a Belpark tech t-shirt for the run? Size large if possible? @markcannon

Hi Mark. I'm probably not your man for a large Belpark top, just have the X-small cycling jersey and a small Tri suit. Someone might see the post and hook you up. Best of luck on Sunday, Mark.

Apparently the Lions Mane jellyfish has made an unwelcome reappearance at Sandycove and people are advised not to enter the water. There is an announcement on the Ironman 70.3 Facebook page that they are monitoring the situation and 'will take action if it persists'. Not sure what that means...

Swam the course this morning. Water a bit chilly and choppy but otherwise grand. There were a few jelly fish there with two people getting stung. Vaseline on the face hands and feet seems to help lessen the sting and their grip if you do get stung. See you there & best of luck

Very nice to see so many Belparkers both racing and cheering yesterday! (and thanks for the post-race treats!) For me it was more than just a race as it provided a great opportunity to meet and get to know other members, as well as see new parts of Dublin/Co.Dublin outside of my usual route to/from work and UCD, and to finally get my act together and swim in the COLD sea!!! Well done, everyone! Congratulations on a spectacular day! Many good memories of Ireland that I can now bring back home with me
