Hi All, Conal Markey will lead these weeks Open Water Swim session at Seapoint tomorrow evening. Please aim to arrive at 6:30pm to leave enough time to park, hear the briefing, sign in and get changed etc. Conal will lead one group that will work on building confidence and gaining some open water skills. Forecast is very calm so this group may swim out to the buoys (of course only if you are comfortable doing this). A second, stronger group will head for the buoys and will cover circa 1500m. As always OW swim info and resources here: www.belparktri.ie/open-water-swimming/We are also looking for a second helper to give Conal a dig out. You do not have to be an excellent or fast swimmer - just comfortable and confident in the water.

ok actually, seeing that all of you guys are going for the buoys, I'm gonna go swimming in Killiney with a friend instead. don't want to be the only "close-to-shore swimmer" and have to join your brave people out into the big scary sea! have a good time tomorrow!

Alex- I'll definitely be bringing a few people around close to shore as per Ben's post. This session is primarily for those who want to get comfortable in the water and learn some technique, so do try and make it if you can.
