Tanja Slater Swim Camp - Back for January
Kick off your new year with a technique focused swim weekend with one of the best tri swimmers in the world.
This will be an action packed weekend including S&C, a Turbo session and Junior events. For those going on the Warm Weather Training Camp Tanja will also give a short talk on how to best prepare and make the most out of it.
Where: UCD & The Good Shepard School Churchtown Whats involved: 2 x swimming sessions, a coached turbo session and a coached S&C session. What if I don't have my own Turbo? There is an option to borrow a club turbo, please make sure you pick the correct option when purchasing. For Who: Juniors and Adults of all swim abilities Times: TBC How Much: €50 for adults, €10 for Juniors This will be on sale through the members zone shortly. As always we expect this event to be very popular and to sell out quickly. Don't miss out! We will not be releasing any additional spots as we are very restricted by time and pool availability and to ensure the athlete to coach ratios allow quality coaching.
Who is Tanja?
For those of you who don’t know Tanja, she is a world class triathlete and coach with a very impressive CV. Tanja has been working with Belpark for several years. She has coached the warm weather training camp in Lanzarote and has been running winter swim workshops for the past few years.
Tanja is a wealth of knowledge and experience, she moved up through the Team GB triathlete ranks competing at ITU level before turning to cycling where she took a victory on a stage of Le Tour de France. In recent years Tanja has turned to long course racing competing in the Ironman world championships in Kona in 2016 where she was 3rd age grouper out of the water in 54:28 for the 3.9km swim (that’s 1:24/100m!!!).
