If some people prefer a flatter route fire away, no pressure to hit the hills! Can we just be sure that a specific route is decided upon beforehand and that a group leader is assigned?

If there are a few people who'd like to take it easy on a flat route, I'd be happy to do the short Blessington route. Joe J. would probably come along then also.

Hi Helen, I would be up for Blessington as well, just a heads up, I'm horribly slow

Have been threatening to do beginners cycle with group since Sept. But each time have lost my nerve. Have done 3l laps of Phoenix Pk route and twice recently did 25k cycle from Blackrock to Enniskerry Loop. Am slow on hills so def won't commit to hilly cycle. Would b v interested in flatter cycle. So for the flatter route, in order to do it properly, we might actually bring mince pies with us to add a bit of weight.

Hi Ger. I'll definitely be there for a flatter route and can lead it if no-one else is assigned to do so on the day. Helen

Ok so it is settled, Helen will lead us along a nice flat route , so everyone who is a bit anxious or who just wants to start riding with the club and is nervous about hills or group cycling or even cycling in general, just please come along with us, don't worry about speed or keeping up, we will take it slow and easy. It will be a great fun morning out followed by nice hot Coffee / Tea and Cake , loads of Cake

Hi! I'll be there tomorrow morning for an intermediate or advanced spin. I'm thinking of bringing some mince pies from Lidl on my way to the ClubHouse. See you then!
