Hi All, The first triathlon of the year is at Lough Cultra castle is this weekend but we still have 3 cycle groups leaving the clubhouse in Rathfarnham village at 8am this Sunday for those not going to Gort. Gavin will lead the intermediate spin while Naomi takes the improvers. Please register at www.belparktri.ie/training-events/ if you intend to cycle. Happy cycling and enjoy Lough Cultra if you're taking part! Kind regards, William

Hi William,
I can lead the improver spin on Sunday. I've already put my name down for it in the event register.

Hi Naomi, Would like to go out with the improvers. Thanks, Maureen. Hi Maureen -that's great! See you on Sunday. For anyone interested in the improver spin, please register on the Event Register (link provided above by William). I will be sending an email with the proposed route and some guidance for the spin. Although the Event Register says that improver spins are 2 hours in duration, you should expect to allocate at least 3 hours for this route. There will be hills but we can do a coffee-stop to break it up. The pace will be kept at ' improver' speed and we leave nobody behind. Hopefully the weather will cooperate

Hello Naomi,
I'm thinking of joining the club and improvers group ride tomorrow and was wondering if it will still be on if it rains.
Thanks, Steve

Yes, I sent an email to everyone who signed up on the Event Register yesterday. We'll still meet at the club house and roll out for 8am. Hopefully this storm passes before we head out. Steve, please read the info for club spins www.belparktri.ie/cycling/ and be sure to bring the right gear.

Well done everyone! We are so lucky it turned out to be such a gorgeous day - it started raining as I walked in the door. Thanks to James and Sue for co-leading the spin. And well done to the novice-level cyclists who took on a tough spin today. It wasn't an easy route!
Steve & Alex, I hope we convinced you to join Belpark!
I've got a few nice pics from today which I've shared with Arron Fox, who manages Belpark's social media accounts, so hopefully she'll put them up on Instagram when she has some time.
Sit back and relax the rest of the day, you've all earned it!
Naomi

Thanks Naomi and special thanks to James for looking after me in the back and helping when my chain came off on the climb into Enniskerry. Think we lost everyone at that point. Really enjoyed my first spin out with the club 👍🏻
