For anyone who wants to gorge themselves over Christmas, here's the biscuit cake recipe from the mince pie cycle.
300g chocolate - I use a mixture of dark and milk chocolate 100g butter 400g tin of condensed milk 400g biscuits - I use digestives (some people mix in some gingernuts or rich tea) Packet of maltesers, broken up crunchie bar, whatever else you want to mix in.
Melt chocolate in a bowl over saucepan of simmering water. Add butter and stir until it's melted. Finally mix the condensed milk into the mixture. If you're feeling particularly decadent, you can add 30mls of Baileys at this stage. Break up the biscuits into small pieces and add to the mixture. Mix well until all the biscuits are coated. Transfer to loaf tin and stick it in the fridge until hard.
I'm not responsible for any resulting obesity...
