Hi Liam, in regards to buying a Wetsuit in Dublin or at least try one on there are several options : cycle superstore ( They have Zoot wetsuits not sure if there have other brands, normally I recommend Irishfit they have a general selection, just not sure what they have at the moment and actually if they will be open next week.Another option is Base2race where you actually can try the Wetsuit in their endless pool, Wheelworx is the last one on my list but as far as I know you can't really try the Wetsuit on. I bought my last wetsuit online but only because I stayed with Orca and knew how those wetsuits feel. If you think of buying online have a look the the swimcyclerun website, that guy is sitting in Dun Laoghaire so a return should be very easy

I bought a wetsuit online from www.sportpursuit.com/ last year (think it was in August) when they had a ridiculously good sale on 2XU wetsuits. I just followed the size guide and the one I got seems to fit fine, but I'm also not very picky when it comes to wetsuits. I cared more about the cost. They have a simple enough return policy as well.

I bought a wetsuit in base2race and had a very poor experience. ZeroD is the only brand they sell and they will try their best to sell you one whether it fits or not. When I questioned the size of the suit she gave me, Mary said "the sizing charts mean nothing..". I also said "Maybe ZeroD is just not the right brand for me, to which she replied, "They'll all exactly the same fit". Clearly she knows her stuff.. Unless you know ZeroD is the right suit for you and you're sure about the fit, I'd avoid B2R completely. They're also the most expensive place to buy (anything). I ended up buying a second wetsuit from cycle superstore. Good selection, great service. Btw, B2R refused to take my old suit back, but generously offered a 10% discount on a more expensive ZeroD suit.

I'd second the recombination for Irishfit. I got an Orca suit there recently, great value and really happy with it. Very patient and helpful staff and you can try on as many as you like.

I got an Orca on Wiggle. Fits perfectly and used the size guide - did not have Orca previously. You just need to make sure it has the right bouncy and flexibility or if a good swimmer no bouncy! I did not have the same positive experience in Irishfit but it might just be me! Chain Reaction have free returns policy if you buy of them.

Joe - what size is it do you know? Hi Liam, yes, its a "Small / Tall". I'm not sure what that translates to in other brands but that's what ZeroD call it.
