Hi
I'm registered for my first Tri attempt next week in Two Provinces. I had intended travelling down Saturday morning. However given I have zero experience of the hassle of registering, setting up, preparing etc etc I'm wondering if a/ I should try to travel the previous evening or b/ I can offer a lift to or take a lift from anyone who is travelling Saturday morning to break me into the routine.
Advice please.
John

Transition closes at 10:15am, and registration closes at 10am. On that basis I'd be aiming to get there by 9am to give myself time. Less than 2 hours drive from Dublin so would be ok leaving soon after 7am.

P.S. Are you the ex-Cable & Wireless 'John Broaders'?

I second that. Two Provinces has always been a really well run race with transition, reg and car park all very close.
