Hi all, Given that my current trainer has a tendency to gradually loosen during sessions and send me flying, I think it's time for an upgrade before the turbo sessions kick off - anyone have any suggestions on a good turbo that isn't ridiculously expensive?
Thanks Valerie

Hi Valerie,
I'm quite happy with my Taxc Turbo ( T2600 ) , yes it is noisy enough ( have found out putting a Yoga Matt underneath dampens it a bit ) but it is super sturdy and quite cheap . The clamping system is save , ok managed to un clamp it once, with single leg drills and I thought resting my other leg on that clamp was a good idea, it was not a good idea. I can't really blame the turbo for that, since it was just stupidity on my site
it's below 200 Euro with the Discount via swimcyclerun

Hi Valerie
The Cycleops trainers get good reviews. The Fluid 2 trainer is supposed to be very good but definitely in the pricey side.

I have the same one that Britta has and am pretty happy with it. I'm surprised how I've stuck to using it. If I'd known how much I'd use it I probably would have gotten a fancier one like the Lemond. The most important piece of kit though is the giant fan!
