Hi all,
I'm looking to buy both a watch for race day (ideally with a HR monitor) and a computer for my bike. Does anybody have any recommendations for either? There are just so many to choose from online that I'm getting a bit lost!
Any advice would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Matthew,
What's your budget for both?
Also are there any particular you want aside from heart rate monitor? Do you want it to upload workouts automatically immediately after you finish or is manual via pc ok?
For a bike computer do you want maps and navigation? Or just a few display fields?

I've had the Garmin 920xt for a year and really happy with it.

Marcus go for the Garmin 920xt it will do for open water seims and in the pool swimming sessions(timing your 100m/200m and rest and so on),run sessions time/distance good for intervals and on the bike paired up with speed/cadence sensor or if you want to go the whole hog it will pair with a power meter also you can race with it.But if you want a computer just for the bike go with a garmin 500 it's a older unit but it dose everything you need on a bike at a fraction of cost of a 520
