We are starting a new block of 5 weeks injury prevention classes on Monday 26 Sept. We hope to run two sessions at 7:30-8:30 and 8:30-9:30, however if there is not enough interest we will run one session from 8-9. We are running it for five weeks so that those that have not done it before do not need to commit to a longer block without trying it first. These places are now on sale on our website.
There has been great feedback from those who attended the first term. The class is run by a physio and focus on pilate-esque type exercies, with a focus on balance; strength work specific to swim, run, bike.
INJURY PREVENTION CLASS CLASS Details : This class will be run by a physiotherapist and will work on flexibility, lumbar spine and lower limb muscle strength work (including gluts activation, abdominal work etc), balance and co-ordination. It will be quite similar to a Pilates course in nature but more tailored towards triathlon. Please remember to bring a yoga mat for the sessions.
