We are delighted to say that Tanja Slater will presenting an hour long talk and Q and A session on everything long distance, next Saturday 25th February in the White Room, Union Café, Mount Merion.
This talk is aimed at anyone aspiring to race Ironman (and even half ironman) distance in the future. Tanja is a world class athlete and former professional triathlete who not only qualified and raced in Kona in 2016 but she was 3rd AG female to exit the water. Tanja has also won a stage a of the Tour De France as well as numerous other accolades over the years.
Tanja has worked with the club on numerous occasions over the past few years running Warm Weather Training in Lanzarote and visiting Dublin to deliver excellent swim workshops.
If Ironman is on your radar this is an excellent opportunity to hear and talk to one of the best.

PS: The talk will be followed with a dinner in the Union Café as a part of the Swim Camp, anyone not doing the swim camp but attending this talk is more than welcome to join us for dinner, please email ladies.captain@belparktri.ie to book a space.
