Hi All, 9am start this week at Rathfarnham AC clubhouse in Rathfarnham village. We will have 2 leaders again on the novice spin to help accommodate the extra numbers. Anyone looking to step up a level from novice to improver should consider doing so this week. We are trying to ensure that where possible the improver and intermediate groups are kept separate and thankfully this week the roster allows this Novice group will be led by Sharon Meyler and Linda Fitzsimons Improver group will be led by Naomi Gilker (There is a possibility that Howth may be on the cards so this will be a good spin) Intermediate group will be led by Ben Malone - there is a possibility that Ben wont be able to make it so if anyone wants to lead the intermediates please get in touch As always you will find all the info on our group spins hereIf you have any questions or are unsure about what group you should join either send me a message here or email me on training@belparktri.ie Remember to post if attending, please let us know what group you plan to go with and dont forget your mudguards Also if anyone has any suggestions or feedback on the Sunday group spins i would love to hear it. Please send it on to the above email address Yours forever in lycra Ian

Thanks Ian. For Improver spin tomorrow (fingers crossed for decent weather!) we will do something along this route www.strava.com/activities/597893120?utm_content=1047242&utm_medium=email&utm_source=ride_share It is a good one for stronger Novice cyclists looking to move up, and Improver-level regulars. Please remember to bring some nutrition with you (water or a fluid replacement drink, and a small snack to eat while out on the bike). We will likely stop for a few minutes to take on some fuel so don't worry too much about eating while on the bike if not able to. Right now it's looking like a wet spin for tomorrow, and as Ian said please use your mudguards (if you have them).

Intermediate for me - happy to lead, let's make it a Northside weekend: 70k route could get us to Ashbourne via Lucan, coming back in dead straight N2 - perfect for some speed work. Forecast is 3C with rain.

Intermediate spin 65km - 7 people ventured Northside, taking an "outer M50" ringed loop - Corkagh Pk, Lucan, Tyrellstown, Ashbourne and straight back through town. We did a 13km TT on the dead straight N2, working as a group up & over on the way out and pushing on individually on the way back. Good fun and nice to have a purpose to the spin. We all need to work on staying tight wheel to wheel, shoulder to shoulder in a group. New route also welcome, it stayed dry, although wet man hole covers were tricky to avoid.
