I only came across this yesterday and I though it might be of some interest for those of us who can't wait to upload garmin data without wasting any time turning on the pc, or trying to find the USB stick etc, (and can't afford to get a fancy 920xt or 810 to do it for us...) It also will work with the USB stick if you have a USB otg cable for your phone. You can check the listing of phones (and garmin it will work with here) www.thisisant.com/directoryYou also may have to install two free apps (Android services actually) from Google Play or they may already be installed on phone: - The ANT Radio Service (which deals with ANT+ channels) - The ANT USB Service (which deals with the USB key). This is not necessary if your device has an internal ANT+ chip. You may need to fiddle with the watch a little and make sure ANT+ is properly set up. Although you've probably done this before to pair your Garmin with your PC, you have to do this again to enable pairing with your Android device. Click Mode, then choose Settings > System > Data Transfer and make sure pairing is enabled. The app I'm using is called 'ant uploader' (Cost €3) or you can trial with the 'ant uploader lite' which will let you download all workouts, but only upload one to garmin. App will upload to garmin connect, strava, endomondo, etc If you've already uploaded workouts it's advisable to delete them from your watch first as it will download everything the first time it connects and this can take a while... I've attached some screenshots below to give an idea of how it works. (I'll tidy this post up later with proper links when I'm on the pc)
