Meet at Rathfarnham Club House at 10.30am and we will cycle out to Corkagh Park as a group for a 11am start. Alternatively you can meet us at Corkagh Park at 11am. The session will consist of a group warm-up on bike course to get used to corners etc. You will then be set off at 20 second intervals to complete 15 laps. Please note the normal rules of a triathlon biking apply - no drafting, no cycling two abreast or blocking course, no dangerous overtaking on corners, and safety first so have respect for slower & faster cyclists around you.
We will have a time-keeper at session to set cyclists off and record times, but you are also responsible for counting your own laps & time- so please bring watch/bike computer with you. It would also be advisable to wear a HR monitor if you have one available as data from this time trial will be useful to compare to later tests when you are (hopefully) fitter and stronger
This session will be incorporated into our regular Sunday spins - and there will be a group doing some extra easy mileage after the TT.
Please post if you plan to come along

If anyone wants to do improver pace spin please post up. I would like to do 70/80k but if preference is for shorter that's not a problem. Don't mind what route as long as it's relatively flat as I am currently banned from hills!

Ciaran, should we just have done 15 laps instead of 18 today? Just looking at your first post

It's 1.1km a loop Johnny. So 1.1 x 18 = 20(ish)
