Anyone know if you can renew your membership with Belpark without buying the race licence? Not 100 % decided yet, but can't see any option on the TI website for club membership without the 50 quid licence fee.

Should be option for non racing for 20, plus club membership of 20.
If you want to upgrade to racing licence during the year you just pay the difference then.
It's handy did it last year.

Hi Keith, Just confirming that all Belpark members must also have TI Membership to attend our training to ensure the training session is covered by TI's third party insurance cover. As Rob has indicated there are two main types of TI membership available (racing and non-racing), and either/ or will cover for you for attending our training sessions. TI provide information on difference insurance benefits on their website: www.triathlonireland.com/insurance.html . The main difference is that there is a small level of personal cover when training or own or with club with racing licence and there is only 3rd party cover with non-racing You can only attend 3 bike/run sessions as a guest, and you must also make sure you sign a guest sign-in sheet. Unfortunately you cannot attend UCD swims as guest as UCD have stipulated that only TI & Belpark members can attend as part of our lane contract hire agreement We know triathlon can be an expensive sport which is one of the main reasons for keeping our membership low. Hopefully you will decide to take the plunge for 2015!! Ellen

Oh i'll be signing up with the club alright. Just didn't see any option on TI's website to take out anything other than a full race licence!
I didn't realise that there was an additional 20 quid for the non-racing licence. It basically means that you only have to do 2 races in order to break even (ODL now seems to be between 20 and 25 Euro).
For the sake of 40 Euro i'll probably just pay the whole thing now.
Cheers both Keith

I noticed that it looked different this year. I didn't see the non racing licence option at all.
