Meet at Rathfarnham Club House at 11.30am and we will cycle out to Corkagh Park as a group for a 12pm start. Alternatively you can meet us at Corkagh Park at 12pm. The session will consist of a group warm-up on bike course to get used to corners etc. You will then be set off at 20 second intervals to complete 18 laps. Please note the normal rules of a triathlon biking apply - no drafting, no cycling two abreast or blocking course, no dangerous overtaking on corners, and safety first so have respect for slower & faster cyclists around you.
We will have a time-keeper at session to set cyclists off and record times, but you are also responsible for counting your own laps & time- so please bring watch/bike computer with you. It would also be advisable to wear a HR monitor if you have one available as data from this time trial will be useful to compare to later tests when you are (hopefully) fitter and stronger
This session will be incorporated into our regular Sunday spins - and there may be some keen to do some extra easy mileage after the TT.
Please post if you plan to come along

Just want to let new members/beginners know that they are encouraged to attend this session too as there is no Saturday bike spin this week. Corkagh Park is closed roads, and a 2km loop. There is no obligation to do the actual TT if you dont want to. You can just come along and practice your cornering and bike handling in a safe environment and get some easy mileage done.
