guys can anyone tell me, I went in today to get a spare tyre for my backwheel as turbo is knackering it, and the guy in the shop told me not to use a carbon frame on a turbo. Under no circumstances. I have never heard this before, any thoughts?

Yeah I've heard it before, seems to be an Internet scare story. Wouldn't worry too much. Turbo clamps to metal skewer, so long as you don't clamp too tight or loose then I don't see a problem. I've noticed some slight flex on my frame when on the turbo, but I've no way of comparing that to comparable use on road do why worry?
