Hi All
Following on from last week. Please see the main set for session 2. I'm not expecting the same warm Summer evening we got last week!!!
5 (or 6 for some) x c.2Km hill repeats. From Taylors Pub to Tick Noc and Three Rock Car park, then return to base (8-13 minutes) 1. Hill Repeat High Cadence 70+ seated 2. Hill Repeat Seated (1 min) with 15 sec stand sprint and repeat. 3. Hill Repeat Higher Gear, Lower Cadence 50+ 4. Hill Repeat Seated (1 min) with 15 sec stand sprint and repeat. 5. Hill Repeat High Cadence 80+ seated
Hill Repeat 3. Will continue to Three Rock via Tick Noc The purpose of hill repeat training is to build strength in the quads, calves and hamstrings. It also improves speed. All reps should be consistent. You should incorporate hill training into your cycling once per week. Don’t pick too steep a hill. Keep all efforts consistent www.strava.com/routes/245474
