Hi All
Sadly, this will be the last Hill Interval session. From next Thursday 14th May, we will be doing brick sessions (Run/Bike/Run etc.) from Papal cross, Phoenix Park. The session for 7th May is as follows:
3 Peaks starting from Taylors Pub. 1. Taylors Pub to Dublin View Point ( 8Km 377m Climb) 2. Dublin Viewing Point to Tibradden ( 5Km 330m Climb) 3. Tibradden to Tick Noc (7km 150m Climb).
The purpose of hill repeat training is to build strength in the quads, calves and hamstrings. It also improves speed. You should incorporate hill training into your cycling once per week. Don’t pick too steep a hill. Keep all efforts consistent
