Anybody have any secrets or tips for cleaning the chain, cassettes, rings, derailleur on your bike? I'm not the best at maintenance - so any tips or videos appreciated. I usually use a degreaser and cloth to clean the crap off the chain, then try clean teeth on cassettes, however my bike could do with a bit more. I've used youtube for ideas and attended a course or two in Wheelworx - so have basics but want to figure out a bit more.

2 words. Baby wipes!
You can pick them. Up for 95c, and they strip all the gunk off a bike and leave it shiney in no time!
I run the chain through a handful to clean it, then wipe a sheet between the cogs to clean them. And then a wipe down of the brake tracks and once over the frame.

Baby wipes are pretty good alright. Use a nail brush on the chain to get inside the links. The chain cleaners you get from cycle superstore are decent, if a bit fragile.
Personally I just use a spray citrus degreaser on the chain. Quick and easy but you have to be careful where you're spraying it!

Get a sponge and something like Shimano solvent degreaser(serious stuff)
Pour it onto the sponge. Wrap the sponge around the chain and spin the chain through 10 revolutions of the pedals. Repeat. Wipe the chain clean with a clean sponge and re oil. It'll be sparkling.

Actually question in regards to the Bike Maintenance , I have now my still shiny Carbon Fibre Bike but I did read somewhere that I'm not supposed to clamp it into one of those Maintenance stands. I love my Bike Maintenance stand, since I finally don't need to crawl on the floor any more, is there maybe a trick so that I still can use that stand with the Carbon Fibre Bike ?

You should be fine to clamp to the seatpost. Just never clamp on the frame.
