yeah, I've had it coming off the Healy pass in the Lost Sheep on my Argon 18 tt bike a few years ago. Frightened the crap out of me as the frame was flexing from front to back and getting worse and worse as I tried to slow the bike down and not loose control. In that case I think it was a cross wind hitting me at a funny angle while I was at high speed (60+kph)... haven't been on the bike since but I am hoping it was just a once off.

I'd get the bike checked out at your local bike shop - could be something loose or needs to be fixed. Can be dangerous, so don't just put up with it.

Have had the same thing with my AR4. Had to get the bearings replaced. Not uncommon with the AR range as far as I'm aware.

A few things that can cause shimmying/wobble at high speed are: Fork alignment - The first post in this article is worth a read - forums.cervelo.com/forums/p/1909/10723.aspxWheels being slightly out of true - Not a problem at lower speeds, but magnifies by high speed. After market Front mounted water bottles - They can unbalance the steering by applying a weight forward of the steerer. It also just happens naturally - read this - www.roadbikerider.com/advanced-skills/speed-wobbleOne of the lads has a Specialized transition that used to vibrate passing 50kph and would disappear a few ks under or over. Supposedly the bike had a natural resonance that caused the frame to vibrate at that speed. Really wierd, and you could stop it by touching your knee off the top tube... Rob
