TI are looking for more Technical Officials. Training takes 1 day and is free of charge. Sessions all over the country, with Dublin session on 7-Feb. Belpark Committee would appreciate members becoming qualified, as were obliged to provide TOs in return for TOs attending our aviation. I've signed up for Dublin session. A few more people expressed interest at the AGM. www.triathlonireland.com/index.php?id=107&nid=2017

Thanks Britta & Dave. Our other nominees from AGM were Chris Bigley and Padraig for TO official and Joe for motor cycle training. Our club secretary Helen will liaise with TI to make sure that you are all added to mailing lists re upcoming official training.

I will email TI to confirm those members who put their names forward at AGM as identified by Ellen above. I will also tell TI that Joe will joining once membership is opened. They had indicted that will be early next week. If others are interested in bring TI officials, can they let me know here or at belparksecretary@gmail.com so that there is a co-ordinated response from Belpark TC.

All those who volunteered at AGM to be Belpark TI officials have had places confirmed on training.

Volunteer opportunity: if you'd like to give back to the organisation of the sport, consider becoming a Technical Official. A number of members helped out at races this year and it's easy to complete training and only takes a few days/evenings of your time. Plus you learn the rules and see how to organise/officiate a good race. Note: as a club we need to provide 2 TOs to TI for each race that we organise (so we needed 6 this year for the 3 duathlon series races - so it really helps to have a pool of qualified Belpark members). The Dublin course for 2016 is being run on 17th October. Other courses around the country. triathlonireland.com/index.php?id=107&nid=2470Any questions just ask myself, Britta, Fergus, Padraig Ruane.

Hi Gunda- that's brilliant that you are interested in being a TO and signed up for training! Yes- unfortunate that the Dublin one clashes with our AGM so hopefully you will also be able to make AGM and end of season mystery event!
