Open Water Swim this Wednesday 29.06.2016 at 7pm. Led by Sinead 'Hat and Goggles' Murphy Aim to arrive at 6:30 to change, sign in and hear the plan. We will be in the water before 7. Likely two groups one around the buoys and the other will stick with group leader and work on OW skills and confidence and aim to get some distance covered too. I also need another confident swimmer (speed is not important, just someone comfortable in the water) to give Sinead a dig out. Please comment below if you plan on attending or if you can assist Sinead. Please note that there is significant rain forecast tomorrow afternoon. Please check before heading down to see if the swim is going ahead. If we have any doubts as to the quality of the water we will cancel. At present the EPA are reporting excellent water quality. Please see here for more OW info and our training calender: www.belparktri.ie/open-water-swimming/

Hi. I "plan" on being there. And I'm reasonably strong swimmer. If schedule changes I'll let you know. John

I'll be there. Jeremy G. G. your link is pointing to the Martello Tower in Killiney. I thought Seapoint was out in Blackrock?

I'll be there. Is it ok for beginner sea swimmers. I have been doing the pool sessions but hoping to get some OW experience soon. Many thanks.

EPA currently reporting Excellent water quality for Seapoint so swim WILL go ahead.
Suitable for ALL levels.
Meeting point is Seapoint as indicated by Jeremy above and the open water section of the website in my original comment.
Don't let the rain put you off, you'll be getting wet anyway!!
