On 22/23 February, Belpark hosted a 2 day training camp with 20+ members interested in competing on the Mens and Ladies National Series Championship this year. The session was led by coach Eamonn Tilley and included a BRIC session in the Phoenix Park, 2x pool sessions in Terenure, a run session in Bushy Park, a turbo session, strength & conditioning as well as video analysis on the swim and run sessions.
We'd love to hear your feedback, so please post and comments here on what you learned, what was most useful and what we could improve for future sessions.

Hi Dave Thanks to yourself Louise and Ellen for organising the camp. I thought it was excellent...with a good mix of training sessions. Sorry to have missed day 2 but heard it was a good day as well. Catherine

I really liked the 2 days of training it was more of a team building camp than training camp. There is only so much a coach can do with the limited amount of time and the amount of athletes that were at the camp.My favorite sessions were swim and the strength training but the little talk about national series is something that the club should seriously be thinking about.

Eamonn did take more videos in the pool - I don't have those yet, but will ask, especially the underwater analysis which is useful for your stroke technique.
