Got a Garmin 520 Edge bundle. I've got the Cadence/Speed working. In the Training section where the screen is split into 7 fields the Heart Rate isn't showing any heart rate. The 3 symbols(Heart/Speed/Cadence) on the top of the screen are all highlighted so I presuming I've installed HR monitor. Could anyone give a me help ?

When you say it's highlighted, is it flashing or solid?
Does it display "Device# connected/detected" when you turn on 520?
Can you check your paired devices in garmin 520 menus and see if anything listed under HRM - should be a device # unless you've renamed it.
There is a battery in the hrm?

Thanks Rob, I've gone into the Sensor details of the HRM and the Battery Status is -- Does this mean the battery is dead?

Hi Phil,
(I'm assuming menu of 520 is similar to my 820 - I don't have a battery status submenu for HRM though)
If you go into Settings -> Sensors -> (Is there a flashing/solid Heart icon) Click on the heart ->Is the first option enabled or disabled? -> Sensor details do you see a number in format 70XXXX?
*wear your hrm for this so it will be picked up
I'd attach pictures of the screens above but phone just died.
** Have you gone into the Sensors submenu and tried to add a sensor and searched for all/hrm while wearing it?

Hi Rob,
The first option is "Enabled"
Sensor ID has a number 14521
Wore the HRM and nothing happening, I'll replace the battery and fingers crossed.
Thanks.
