Yes, Nirvana is an expensive option. Zurich IM sounds incredible. Great that you are also doing Austria Robert. Have you sorted accommodation and flights, shipmytribike etc yet? There are a few of us doing our long spins (4-5hrs) every Sat. Drop me an e-mail kathleenmcurran@gmail.com if either of you or any others interested want to join.

Only paid registerstion , spoke to shipmytribike and they are doing Zurich so that's good but still need to book that. Not booked accommodation yet which is unfortunate as i hear the swiss franc went through the roof yesterday may take you up on the long cycles over the next few months. Think Johnny finegan might be keen also

Kathleen Hi Kathleen, myself and Rob have accomodation booked and have the bikes booked with shipmytribike also. Full steam ahead. Offer of long spins sounds good, we may be a bit off the pace though. What route would you generally take and do you use your racers or tri bikes? Is there anyone else doing Austria from the club that you know of? Phil

Hi Phil, as far as I know looks like the only Belparkers doing Austria this year are yourselves, Phil Smith and myself. I have also booked shipmytribike but have yet to sort flight and accommodation!!!! -- need to get on this!! Road bikes for long spins at the moment given the weather and early morning icy conditions. I can't make this Sat. but will be in touch re the following w/e.

Anyone keen for an early longish bike on Sat let me know. Looking to do easy paced hilly 80-90km up the mountains and not sure how comfortable I am with the thought of being in my own company for so long! Cheers

Just wondering if anyone has experience of IM Austria. I believe there are 2 hills in the circut. anyone know how tough they are, or any comparable hills in Dublin?

Kathleen hi, do you know anyone I can chat to about the swim at Ironman Austria. In particular what sort of time can one expect to knock off compared to what they're doing in the pool.
