Happy that I managed to get a entry for Hell of the West but looking around to find a bed for a couple of nights looks like to be a challenge , can anyone recommend a place that is not too far away and also affordable ?

Pure camping -- real beds in wigwam tents!! They even have stoves in the tents during the winter ? They are located about 2-3km outside Kilkee. www.purecamping.ie

I stayed in Doonbeg a couple of years back. A few of us hired a couple of holiday houses there for the weekend. Its a 5 minute drive to Kilkee but a nice place, couple of pubs and was good value. I will try and find the link and post it here.
