Great morning completing Dublin 70.3 bike route recce. 14 enthusiastic cyclists showed up and we did the route from the Phoenix Park, about 75k. Nice and flat route, with fast straight roads Dunboyne to Kilcock turnoff & Kilcock back to Maynooth. We only missed one turn (after Maynooth turning right towards Carton House) but finished off at the Phoenix Park Visitors Centre for some well deserved lunch, cake and coffee. Here's my Strava route map (from Leopardstown) www.strava.com/activities/343728146Btw, you can download Garmin Courses from the website onto your watch. I wasn't able to do it, the search page times out, and I have a GPX file of the course but can't upload it to my Connect page. Anyone know how to get the GPX onto my watch?

Dave, thanks for leading the group today. Great to have that under our belt. Top lunch stop too!!
FYI by way of further reccie I drove down the north quays on the way home and with the exception of quite a few sunken manholes the surface is excellent....except from Heuston Station to bottom of Infirmary Road....very bad.
