Hi guys,
I'm planning on doing 70.3 Dublin next year (Britta I'll post on your post in a mo :-) ) but I'm also probably gonna do another one earlier in the season, around may/June time and wondered if anyone else is thinking of racing a 70.3 around that time too? If so I was thinking it'd be nice to try and organise it so a few of us are doing the same one - bit of comradery and all!! :-)
I've not had a proper look but off the top of my head I think Mallorca, Barcelona and uk wimbleball ones are around that time (there are probably a few others too). I think 70.3 Staffordshire has sold out and did so very very quickly.
Would anyone fancy any of them or have any other ideas or can see any other options?

Hi Nikki, Mallorca 70.3 in in May and I really can recommend that Race, it is absolutely amazing. Mallorca has the advantage that you could get your bike shipped with "ShipmyTribike", wouldn't ship my bike any other way. For me personally Dublin is enough for the moment, this time I have a real time goal (not only finishing like this Year) and quite a bit depends on making that time I have in my head, so will put all my power and will into Training for that race ;o)

Hey Nikki/Helen/Shane - there is a gang of us going to Lanzarote in mid march and doing www.tri122lanzarote.com/en/ if you could be tempted?? The long course is 2km/100km/20km, the bike leg is challenging with one big "hill" and it is usually windy too so will suit you all perfectly! Are you brave enough? Cheers Frank

Hi Shane, it falls at the end of the warm weather camp. Last year 4 did the short course and there was also a relay team. The 2 coaches also did it (colin won the long course). We ended up flying straight home after the race. This year we have moved the camp so that we fly home the following day and get to "celebrate" after the race. if you wanted to come over for a few days just to do the long course you would be more than welcome to join us for meals, party and we would all be around for the registration, race etc. Just don't expect us to be doing the long course at the end of a hard weeks training! likewise if you want to come on the trip and do the shorter (1k/60k/10k) you would be very welcome and there is still a place left. Cheers

Hi! That's my plan for my next season. I'd like to join any 70.3 IM before my big challenge in July. The best date should be mid of May, but I'm up for any other date around this one. Honestly, I'd rather going to Spain, because It's my country and I'm used to that weather. But I'm thinking of going to Lisboa again. I've been there 2 years ago and It was a great experience. LZ Triathlon is too soon for me. I'll try to keep in touch with you, because I'm very interested in it. Let me share with you the provisional calendar with any of the half and long distance races in my county (AndalucĂa). www.triatlonandalucia.org/sites/default/files/noticias/CALENDARIO%20ANDALUZ%20PROVISIONAL%20DE%20MD-LD%202015_0.pdfIt's in Spanish, but if anyone is interested in any race, just let me know and I'll try to give you more information. Thanks!
